To kick start the year of new makeup Pixi Beauty have just released a trio of Eyeshadow Palettes – Mixed Metals, Reflex Light and Natural Beauty. I was lucky enough to receive Reflex Light and Natural Beauty in PR as part of their Galentines campaign along with a trio of mini brushes to help me out – the blending brush they included has to be one of the best brushes I have used, if I could find the link to it I would have shared it with you!
Here is what Pixi have to say about these eyeshadows:
• Palette contains: 12 x Eye Shades
• Super silky mineral shadows in unique different textures to make it easy to create 3D looks with a few sweeps.
• Creamy glow shades, 3D metallics, to matte transition hues.
• Highly blend-able, pigment packed, and long-wearing.

Both palettes are true to colour, what you see in the pan is what you get on your skin – I was especially impressed with Reflex Light being true to colour on the skin with minimal fall out. Prior to this palette I have shied away from using glitter shades as there is always more ending up my cheeks than my eyelids leaving the whole experience a major disappointment and rather pointless.
Natural Beauty has 12 shades which consist of matte, shimmer and glitter colours.
I have to say to see this many smokey browns so dark they are close to black in one palette is impressive, with the formula not becoming chaulky or taking a hundred swipes just to get a decent swatch – my favourite brown from the choice given is Cocoa Shimmer which has flecks of gold shot through the brown and gives a warm depth to the colour.
Reflex Light again has 12 shades, this time solely consisting of glitter shades.
I could drool over the swatches from Reflex Light all day, it is so beautiful and the colours are like something I have never seen before. Auburn Blaze has to be my favourite shade even though it is hard to choose just one this time.
The palettes retail at £24 each which is very reasonable when you consider the quality of the product that you are getting, there are palettes out there for double the price that are no where near as good as the Eye Reflections. If you asked to choose which one is my favourite thought I would struggle as I love the versatility of both palettes – Reflex Light has some intense pigment and shimmer that it delivers but I also love Natural Beauty for the combination of natural matte, shimmer and glitter shades. Regardless of which palette you choose to buy, you will not regret it and if I was not already sent these I probably would have considered getting at least one of these.
Let me know in the comments below which one you like the most and if you would like me to share some looks using the palettes!
Love and (high)light✌
