Happy St Patrick’s day everyone! I have created a little eyeshadow look that is themed in honour of the day – I hope you like it. Let me know in the comments below if you would like to see more themed looks like this and the link to your page if you have done something similar, if it is on Instagram then I will share it in my story!
So lets get in to the look, this is what I used to achieve it:
– Morphe 35B Colour Burst Artistry Palette
– Pixi Beauty Eye Reflections Palette in Reflex Light
– Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original
– Nire Beauty eyeshadow brushes
– Soap & Glory Thick & Fast HD Mascara
– 58p False Eyelashes available here on Amazon
– Ardell Duo eyelash glue
– Rimmel London Exaggerate Automatic Waterproof Eye Definer in Black
– Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade in Chocolate
Step one: Create your base with an eyeshadow primer, this will help bring the colours out more and make sure your eyeshadow lasts longer on the lid and then blend a neutral skintone colour all over the lid going up to the brows, this will help take out any uneven pigmentation.
Step two: Take a shimmery light green shade and build this up on to the eyelid so that it becomes a solid colour. I used MOSS BOSS from the Morphe 35B Colour Blend Palette.
Step three: Use a matte mid green shade and work this on the outer to inner corners of the eye, this is going to create the halo effect. It is important to make sure this is blending well with the light green and that there is still a space with the light green in the centre of the eyelid. I used APPLE CIDER from the Morphe 35B Colour Blend Palette.
Step four: The last green colour to use will be a dark green, lightly pat this in to the outer and inner corner of the eye but don’t drag the brush one side to another. I used FOREST from the Morphe 35B Colour Blend Palette.
Step five: Heavily pack on the yellow centre shade, I prefer to do this with a clean finger to avoid fall out. I used Gold Foil from the PIxi Beauty Reflex Light Palette and SUNSHINE from the Morphe 35B Colour Blend Palette.
Step six: Take a yellow gold shade and line the underneath of your eye with this, to bring out the colour spritz an eyeliner brush with some setting spray before taking it in to the palette. I used Gold Foil from the PIxi Beauty Reflex Light Palette.
Step seven: Tightline and waterline your eyes with a black eyeliner and pop on your eyelashes.
I hope you enjoyed the recreation of this look, I got the Morphe Palette for Christmas and it was so nice to finally get an excuse to try out the vibrant colours!
Love and (high)light
